Fast drying modified alkyd enamel, used as a topcoat for general use in the metallurgical industry.
Description
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
- Vehicle Type Modified alkyd resins
- Pigment type Titanium dioxide, metal oxides and organic and inorganic pigments of the highest lightfastness and outdoor resistance
- Type of solvent Aromatic hydrocarbons mainly
- Specific gravity at 20 ºC
- From 0.960 to 1.500 gr/cc (depending on color).
- Finura de Molienda < 25 micras
- Viscosity at 20 ºC
- Min: 85" (Ford Cup No. 4), according to colors.
- Solids by volume According to color chart
APPLICATION DATA:
- Recommended thickness 30+5 dry microns per layer
- Theoretical Yield: 5-6 m² / Kg and coat
- Airless" spray gun: Spray pressure: 120-150 bar. Nozzle diameter: 0,38-0,53 mm. Compression ratio: 50 : 1 Application angle: 40-80 degrees Dilution: 0 - 5% in vol.
- Spray gun: Pressure: 3 - 5 bar. Nozzle diameter: 1, 2 - 2 mm. Dilution: 5-10% by volume. Brush / Roller: Dilution: 5% by volume.
- Thinner/Cleaner Synthetic Solvent. Avoid excessive dilution, as this may result in reduced sag resistance and loss of overall product properties.
