  • Epoxy Resin para estratificados y reparacionesis an ultra-transparent resin ideal for this type of application.
  • Scale o Measuring Mixing Cup You will be able to weigh and measure the exact amount of hardener you need for your resin to avoid possible failures.
  • Use the Stirring Rods to mix the resin correctly in a clean and comfortable way.
  • Plastic cups
  • Pigments for Epoxy Resin, 100% solids. You will need them to color your resin. The colors you will need to use are blue and white.
  • Hot Air Gun or Dryer
  • Surface on which the application is going to be made, in this case there are many options, as many as your imagination will let you reach. You can use a wooden board, cutting board, coconut ....

Follow these steps to achieve the Wave Effect:

  1. Choose the surface on which to make the crafts. It must be horizontal in order to be able to pour the resin. We recommend that you protect the area where you will place it, since it is most likely that the excess resin will fall from the chosen surface.
  2. If you wish, you can place some ornaments, sand, shells... This will give a personal touch to your work, for example, the memory of a trip to a special beach or that place where you have always spent your summers.
  3. If you finally decide to add ornaments, you will first have to fix the ornaments with adhesive or epoxy resin.
  4. Prepare several resin mixtures of different shades of blue pigments and a white one with the Epoxy Resin. The different shades of blue can be achieved by mixing the blue color with white, experiment with the colors until you reach the exact shades of ocean you are looking for.
  1. Start pouring the blue resins creating a gradient (the lighter shades should be near the edge).
  1. Once the blue colors have been applied and the resin is still within the pot life, pour a white line of resin on the edge.
  1. If you want, you can incorporate a thin line of transparent resin between the blue and white colors. This way, by creating the foam effect, it will look more realistic.
  2. Use the air gun or blow dryer to create the foam, and observe how the wave effect is created.
  1. Let it dry and if you wish, you can create a new layer to achieve a three-dimensional effect.

Don't forget to wait the recommended drying time for the Resin you are going to use!
