Description
Get rid of the dirty look of the edge of your pool with Eurotex Edge Renovator; Maintains the anti-slip capacity of the support.
Uses
- Restoration or painting of swimming pool borders made of natural or artificial stone, as well as unglazed terracotta slabs.
- It is not recommended to be applied on wood, plastic or already painted surfaces (except surfaces painted with mineral-based paints).

Application conditions
Apply with temperatures above + 5º C and relative humidity below 80%. The temperature of the paint and the surface must be above this limit. Do not apply if rain is expected, with high humidity or in areas with dew forecast. Do not apply with risk of frost, rain or in hours of maximum sun exposure.
How is it used?
The application can be made by brush, roller or airless spray gun, after shaking the product and dilution as indicated in the instructions for use. The cleaning of equipment should be done with water before the paint dries. Once dry, cleaning solvent should be used.
- Treatment of the support
The substrate must be clean, dry, free of grease or contaminants, free of loose elements and free of areas affected by biodegradation that prevent the correct anchorage or affect the durability of the painting system. It is necessary that the support is free of remains of old paint; as long as this is not of mineral origin.
New surfaces: Clean adequately the support. If necessary, due to the nature of the surface, a superficial sanding will be made to open the pores and facilitate the anchorage and penetration of the paint.
Surfaces already painted: Renovador de bordes de piscina should not be applied on already painted surfaces (except surfaces painted with mineral-based paints). In case the origin of the applied paint is unknown, remove it by mechanical or manual procedures. Painted surfaces in bad conditions must be completely removed using high pressure water machinery. Do not use chemical products of acid or alkaline nature in the cleaning works, since they could damage irreversibly the base support.
Surfaces already painted with paints of mineral nature: Perform a deep cleaning of the surface using pressurized water. If necessary, rub with a natural bristle brush using a dilution of water and neutral detergent. Rinse the surface and let it dry before applying the pool edge renovator.
On other types of substrates: The solidity and anchorage of the paint must be previously checked and the nature of the substrate must be diagnosed in order to avoid possible incompatibilities; these must be of a mineral nature. Eurotex cannot guarantee the behavior of the paint on other products.
- Product application
Stir the contents of the container to obtain a total homogeneity of the product.
Primer: Do not use fixatives or other types of primers.
Finishing: Apply a first coat of Renovador de bordes de piscina, diluted between 5 - 15 % with water depending on the absorption capacity of the support. Let dry between coats about 12 - 24 hours depending on application conditions. Then apply one or two finishing coats (depending on the characteristics of the substrate) diluted up to 5% with water if necessary.
