Zinc silicate for cathodic protection against mechanical damage
CHARACTERISTICS:
- Color / Finish: Metallic gray / Matte
- Solids by volume: 65 +/-2 %.
- Flash point: > 15° C
- Mixing ratio: 10 liters of prehydrolyzed liquid : 3.5 liters of Zinc Powder
- Mixing time: 6 h at 23ºC
- Recommended thickness Wet: 115 microns Dry: 75 microns
- Surface temperature Minimum: 10ºC Maximum: 40ºC
- Coverage: 8.7 m² / liter 75 dry microns | 10 m² / liter 60 dry microns
APPLICATION:
- Airless" spray gun: Pressure at nozzle: 120-150 bar. Nozzle diameter: 0.53-0.64 mm. Application angle: 40-80 degrees. Dilution: 0 - 5% by volume.
- Spray gun: Pressure: 3 - 5 bar. Nozzle diameter: 1,8 - 2,2 mm. Dilution: 10% by volume.
- Brush/Roller: Dilution: 5% by volume.
- Thinner/cleaner: EXTRESOL BARNIZINC.
