Description
Noveltex Mate is ideal for interior and exterior walls.
Noveltex Mate is a white paint for interior use based on an aqueous emulsion of acrylic copolymers, fillers and selected pigments. It is especially used on all types of interior walls and ceilings made of common building materials such as cements, mortars, plaster or plasterboard. It is also used in exteriors, to apply on walls, exterior walls or light courtyards.

Treatment of the support
The substrate must be clean, dry, free of grease or contaminants, free of loose elements and free of areas affected by biodegradation that prevent the correct anchorage or affect the durability of the painting system.
New concrete surfaces: Allow concrete to set completely (28 days minimum). Remove setting laitance, soluble salts, dust, grease, oil and other contaminants by mechanical or manual procedures.
Surfaces already painted of concrete, mortar or fiber cement: Remove dust and disaggregable materials by mechanical or manual procedures. Painted surfaces in bad condition should be completely removed by high pressure water jet or more abrasive water jet. It is not recommended to use chemical products of acid or alkaline nature in the cleaning works, since they could irreversibly damage the base support.
On other types of substrates: The solidity and anchorage of the paint must be previously checked and the nature of the substrate must be diagnosed in order to avoid possible incompatibilities. Eurotex cannot guarantee the performance of the paint on other products.
Instructions for use
The application should be made by brush, roller or airless spray gun after homogenizing the product and dilution. The dilution of the product and cleaning of equipment and tools can be carried out using tap water before the paint dries. Once dry, cleaning solvent should be used.
Primer:
- On surfaces that present a firm, dry, absorbent and compact aspect, apply a coat of Eurotex colorless Eurofixer diluting one part per 4 of water.
- If the substrate shows lack of consistency and high absorption, use in its place Eurotex water-repellent sealer solvent-based sealer diluted 25 - 75% with Eurosolv-X.
Finishing:
- Apply a first coat of Noveltex Mate, diluting the product by 10 %. Let dry 6 hours between coats according to conditions and application conditions. Then apply one or two finishing coats (depending on the characteristics of the substrate), with a maximum dilution of 5% with water.
