Main applications
- For all types of facades and exterior walls or interiors where a smooth, decorative and protective finish is required.
- It can be applied over cementitious or lime mortar, cement, plaster or porous brick plaster.
How to use this AMH smooth coating
The application can be made with brush, roller or spray gun, after shaking the product and dilution. The cleaning of equipment should be done with water before the paint dries. Once dry, cleaning solvent should be used.
- Treatment of the support:
The substrate must be clean, dry, free of grease or contaminants, free of loose elements and free of areas affected by biodegradation that prevent the correct anchorage or affect the durability of the painting system.
New concrete surfaces: Allow concrete to set completely (28 days minimum). Remove setting laitance, soluble salts, dust, grease, oil and other contaminants by mechanical or manual procedures.
Surfaces already painted of concrete or fiber cement: Eliminate dust and disaggregable materials by mechanical or manual procedures. Painted surfaces in poor condition should be completely removed using high pressure water machinery. Do not use chemical products of acid or alkaline nature in the cleaning works, since they could damage irreversibly the base support.
On other types of substrates: The solidity and anchorage of the paint must be previously checked and the nature of the substrate must be diagnosed in order to avoid possible incompatibilities. Eurotex cannot guarantee the performance of the paint on other products.
- Product application:
Primer: Apply a coat of Eurotex Eurofixer (WATER-BASED) diluted one part per 4 of water if the surface has a firm, dry, absorbent and compact aspect or EUROTEX WATER-REPELLENT SEALER (SOLVENT-BASED) diluted 25 to 75% of Eurosolv-X if the support presents a lack of consistency and high absorption.
Finish: Apply a first coat of Océano F2 Rev. Liso AMH, diluted between 5 - 10 % with water. Let dry between coats about 6 - 8 hours depending on application conditions. Then apply one or two finishing coats (depending on the characteristics of the substrate) with a maximum dilution of 5% with water.
