Comfortex PU Membrane Special Roofs
SKU:Polyurethane waterproofing membrane that provides acoustic and thermal insulation. It has great elastic properties for application on non-trafficable roofs. Applicable on all types of materials(concrete, cement, brick, fiber cement or porous terrazzo ).

Description
Anti-condensation, sound-absorbing and thermo-insulating membrane
Due to the solar reflectance of the film and the Comfortex technology of insulating microspheres, it provides thermal insulation, in addition to being sound-absorbing and anti-condensation. They have a thermal break effect and specially selected additives, which give them excellent resistance to the most adverse weather conditions and extraordinary durability.

Fields of application
- In general for any type of terrace with water filtration problems.
- Terraces without steep slopes where water accumulates at specific points.
- Terraces with planters or plants that are continuously wetting the surface
- For party walls or walls in contact with water (continuous gardens, laundry rooms, slaughterhouses...).
- As a finish for rubber waterproofed terraces
Instructions for use
The substrates must be firm, dry and free of old paint or other poorly adhered impurities.
- Apply a coat of water-based epoxy binder.
- Apply one coat of the membrane by roller, brush or airless spray gun.
- Lay mesh or geotextile.
- Apply an abundant coat of the waterproofing membrane, do not apply more than 300 wet microns. It must completely cover the mesh or geotextile.
- Apply a last coat of the membrane.
NOTE: Recoatings should be applied when the previous coat is dry to the touch. If pedestrian trafficability is required, it is important to carry out the reinforcement in the scheme.
